A country that cries for FDI's just noosed the neck and killed >500KW ROOF SOLAR and budding new entrepreneurs, along with it possible GROUND Solar (Revised tariff to be announced soon) by proposing to abolish the PRICING FORMULA which was representing the USD : LKR which was the only consolation a foreign investor had in terms of INVESTMENT RECOVERY.

Who give advises to Kanchana Wijesekera - කංචන විජේසේකර ???
Does he even consult so called "Experts" or "Investors" in the industry?

A country that still generates majority of its electricity THERMALLY killing SOLAR prospects that the country had with a bold target of 2000MW by 2030 ??? Why kill the SOLAR ENERGY infant instead of letting the THERMAL POWER GENERATION "life lived to full" go through its natural death?

Diesel, Coal Tender's give real deal and feed the GREEDY politician and officials for their generations to come today, while KILLING A CLEANER FUTURE for the UNBORN.

Headlines in News Papers by 2030 :
Arrogance & Ignorance of Idiots in big seats Killed Sri Lanka's Renewable Energy Hopes, and Its economy along with it!

Kanchana Wijesekera - කංචන විජේසේකර : Re Consider with wisemen around you and with a PNL analysis please not the DEAL KAAKKAS

Ranil Wickremesinghe : Just pushing for elections by pressurizing the minister to reduce Electricity Tariff for Consumers is not the way.

Instead try introducing,

1. A solid policy frame work that would not change for next 20 years, tariffs that wont change for next 5 years, pricing formulas that would include key economic indicators such as FOREX, LIBOR, AWRP, COST PER KW...etc

2. Tax reforms to reduce income tax burden on companies investing in Solar power generation. Tax holidays for loan repayment period, preferential taxes, tax benefits for FDI lead developments...etc Plenty you can do in this segment...

3. Make Solar Panel importation completely tax free, including VAT... You can charge your levies as they are.

4. Introduce green loans with foreign funds through Sri Lankan State banks Bank of Ceylon and People's Bank predominantly while also letting private banks take ownership and interest.

With this my dear President Ranil Wickremesinghe and dear Power Minister Kanchana Wijesekera - කංචන විජේසේකර you can reduce the electricity tariff on the long run.

"RUSHING NEVER SAVED THE TIME & MONEY THAT PLANNING DID"

Our dear Sun in the solar system do not send you bills for its rays and cannot pay slush commissions to corrupt politicians and officials. But it can save our future, emissions, reduce heat under roofs, and give more economic benefits than you can even think!

Think Rationally, Think Patriotically, not Politically!
