After many years of proudly serving our passengers in our signature uniforms, we’re excited to announce a new collaboration: Renuar will design the new uniforms for our cabin and ground crews.

This partnership represents a natural connection between two leading Israeli brands, both with strong local roots and a growing international presence.

The new design will reflect professionalism, modernity, comfort, and Israeli pride, as part of our broader effort to elevate the EL AL service experience. The project will include an in-depth study of crew needs, on-site consultations, fabric selection, and the creation of tailored designs for each role.

Every few months, we refresh our in-flight menu, and this time, it’s made up of the dishes you chose.

Since Chef Assaf Granit joined us on this culinary journey, thousands of passengers have taken part in surveys, and told us which flavors excite them most.

The result? A menu built around the most loved dishes, designed to elevate the experience at 30,000 feet.

We invite you to enjoy the flavors you selected, available on every flight departing from Tel Aviv to all destinations, as well as on short-haul flights (Europe and the UAE to Israel).

A small taste of the dishes now taking off with us: chicken patties with coconut in chard and chickpea sauce, rigatoni pasta with tomato–rosa and spinach sauce, shawarma wrap, pretzel sandwich with chipotle brisket and onion, baked salmon with mild nutmeg sauce, sweet potato tortellini, and more.

After more than a decade, we are resuming flights to Eilat!

At the request of Israel’s Ministry of Transportation, and as part of a joint effort to increase flight frequency between Eilat and central Israel, EL AL will be reintroducing this important route.

The service will initially operate this coming winter only (Starting from October 21, 2025), with two daily flights on the Tel Aviv–Eilat route — one in the morning and one in the evening. Flights will be operated by our Boeing 737 aircraft, with fares starting at 139 ILS one-way for a Lite ticket including a trolley and backpack. Residents of Eilat and the Eilot region will enjoy a subsidized fare of 99 ILS one-way for a Lite ticket. Tickets are available for purchase on EL AL’s website and through travel agents.

This is also exciting news for members of our Matmid Frequent Flyer Program, as points can now be earned and redeemed on flights to and from Eilat.

As Israel’s flag carrier, we are proud to strengthen our presence in the south, improve air accessibility for Eilat residents, and expand business opportunities in the region.

EL AL: Flying the Flag All the Way to Los Angeles

EL AL to Be the Official Airline of the Olympic Committee of Israel for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games 🏆🥇🥈🥉

As part of a proud Israeli partnership that honors the delegation’s national identity and deep sense of pride, EL AL will serve as the Official Airline of the Olympic Committee of Israel. The airline will provide comprehensive support to the athletes and fly the delegation to both the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games and the European Games in summer 2027.

Following the full reopening of Terminal 1 on August 3, Sundor, part of the EL AL Group, will resume operating most of its flights from Terminal 1.

Sundor flights to the following destinations will depart from Terminal 1:

Belgrade (Serbia), Tbilisi (Georgia), Batumi (Georgia), Albania (on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays), Paphos (Cyprus), Larnaca (Cyprus), Heraklion (Crete), Santorini (Greece), Mykonos (Greece), Rhodes (Greece), Thessaloniki (Greece), and Lefkada (Greece).

Flights to Porto (Portugal), Chișinău (Moldova), Kefalonia (Greece), Tivat (Montenegro), Albania (on Sundays and Thursdays), Warsaw and Krakow (Poland) will continue to depart from Terminal 3.

Closing the Year with the Future of Space Innovation.

We proudly wrapped up the final event of the Space Startups program, our inspiring partnership with the Ramon Foundation, at the Beit Yitzhak Regional School in Emek Hefer.

Together with EL AL Captain Ilan Pierre and Ramon Foundation Chairman Yiftach Ramon, we met the brilliant students who shared what they’ve learned and their bold dreams for the future.
