Taking a moment this Mother's Day to honour the women whose love and unfailing prayer helped shape my own world.
To our family's Matriarch, Vena Browne, who will always be remembered for her kindness and fearless spirit.
And her daughter, my mother, Michaelene Browne, who I am so blessed to call mine.
Thankful, too, for all of my aunties, Vena's daughters, who have given my sisters and I a solid blueprint on what sisterhood can look and feel like when the love goes deep.
Love to all of the mothers and mother figures who protect, defend, and carry us.
