Gamma 8 Product End-of-Sale Announcement

As part of our product line planning, Gamma 8 will officially reach its End-of-Sale (EOS) milestone on September 1, 2026, and will be removed from the Accusys official website's product listings on the same date.

This end-of-sale notice applies only to the sale of new Gamma 8 units and the corresponding product page adjustments on our website; it does not affect the warranty, RMA service, or technical support for existing products. Accusys will continue to provide after-sales service to existing Gamma 8 customers.

Different workflows require different storage architectures.
Understanding the differences between DAS, NAS, and SAN is the first step toward choosing the right storage solution.

DAS connects directly to a computer and is ideal for individual creators and high-speed workflows.
NAS provides file access over a network, making it suitable for general team sharing and everyday data management.
SAN delivers centralized, high-performance storage for collaborative editing, post-production, and larger professional workflows.

There is no single storage architecture that fits every workflow. The most important thing is to find the solution that best meets your needs.

不同的工作方式，需要不同的儲存架構。
了解 DAS、NAS 與 SAN 之間的差異，是選擇合適儲存方案的第一步。

How Should You Back Up Footage on Location?

Finishing a shoot does not mean the job is done. Protecting the footage is the next critical step.
When working on location, keep at least two independent copies and verify that the files have been transferred correctly.

One copy can remain on the original memory card, while another is stored on a portable storage device. After returning to the studio, transfer the footage to your primary storage or backup system.

Do not rely on a single drive. A clear backup workflow helps reduce the risk of losing valuable footage.

外出拍攝後，素材應該怎麼備份？
拍攝完成不代表工作結束，素材安全才是下一個重要步驟。

建議在外出拍攝時，至少保留兩份獨立備份，並在複製完成後確認檔案是否完整。
可以將一份素材保留在原始記憶卡，另一份複製到可攜式儲存設備；回到工作室後，再同步至主要儲存或備份系統。

不要只依賴單一硬碟。建立清楚的備份流程，才能降低素材遺失的風險。
