Will I miss my flight and get stuck on Hamilton Island?

I thought leaving Hamilton Island would be the easy part.

Then I discovered there was no accessible bathroom after security, which meant I had to leave, find another bathroom and go through security all over again.

By the time I got back, the plane was already boarding. 😳

It was on this day four years ago that Wheel Around the World started.

The idea had actually been in my head for a long time, but it took me years to build up the courage to actually go out and document what it’s like to travel as a person with a disability.

I spent two days rolling around Paris, exploring and filming, then came back to Australia and edited together a video.

To be honest with you, it was okay. It was a learning experience, but I knew it could have been so much more.

So I decided to step it up a notch.

That led to my first proper adventures through Bali, Europe, Japan and the list has just kept growing from there.

But this is it. This is where it all began.

Four years on, more than 300 million views later, and I’ve got some pretty exciting news just around the corner.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported Wheel Around the World and helped it get to this point.

Thank you for joining me on the journey.

And buckle in, because the next stage of the adventure is about to get even juicier.

I didn’t expect to meet a koala on Hamilton Island. 🐨

This is Wally, and I reckon he might have the best lifestyle on the island. Eat, sleep, repeat. 😂

This is the Daydream Island I definitely wasn’t expecting to see.

PART 4

As I explored further, I discovered parts of the resort that felt almost abandoned. Closed areas, deteriorating buildings and a completely different side to the tropical paradise being sold to visitors.

The further I explored, the stranger it got.
