Hon Kaganda David Businge Atwooki
Aspiring member of parliament –Mwenge south
‘Leave no one behind –together we can’
Background
Following a number of consultative and interactive meetings of stake holders/well-wishers of Mwenge south-Kyenjojo District research was conducted both in Kyenjojo and Kampala for several months with the overall objectives of rolling over my political agenda/campaign ahead of both NRM Structural and primary elections for landslide victory as determinant factor for 2021 Mwenge South Parliamentary elections.
I acknowledge the history of Mwenge/Kyenjojo community as well as our country Uganda and I put myself up for the service and to walk in the footsteps of the founding fathers of Mwenge more so Kyenjojo district, where they have erred, together we will correct and where they were correct together we will affirm.

I believe that founding fathers of Kyenjojo had a vision which has led us where we are you today and I would like to say they have played a wonderful role to be where we are, progressively i acknowledge the effort and hard work in their generation.
As the new generation of Mwenge south Kyenjojo district we are indebted to the roles our current leaders are playing and many other people in the struggle for unity, prosperity and transformation of Kyenjojo.
However as per the research done in Mwenge south Kyenjojo District the majority of the people of Mwenge south have identified and raised serious concerns and expressed unhappiness at the manner Mwenge south is currently being governed, by its current member of parliament in particular
a) The inability to address the basic needs of most people in Mwenge south, the disempowerment of the people, severe decline in incomes, unemployment, health, food, security and well- being of people, the unfair burden borne by working women and men, tribal wars ,the persistence of corruption practice
b) The decline and in some cases total collapse of public services
c) The lack of progress in resolving land issues and rural investment needs
d) The weak growth in industry and marginalization of the vast majority of the local entrepreneurs and business communities are left out to fight on their own.
e) Wide - spread corruption and lack of public accountability in political and economic institutions they also noted the need and desire to front anew a political candidate for run for the office of the Member of Parliament that would seek to address the broad concerns of the people of Mwenge south.
With that background I come on the above basis and also carrying on the struggle of the people of Mwenge south, the struggle for food and jobs, peace, dignity, unity decency and equal distribution of resources, and justice, transparency and equality of all people of Mwenge south

AIMS, VALUES AND OBJECTIVES
I Kaganda Businge David will be running for the office of Member of Parliament to represent the people of Mwenge south Kyenjojo District under National Resistance Movement NRM Party, first I will contest in the NRM primaries 2020 and thereafter in the general elections 2021.

A mutooro must be dignified at all times. In fact the tribal name, batooro, is rooted in the word "omutooro" which means "ceremony". Literally translated, batooro means "the ceremonious ones"; a possible reminder of the practice of putting on one's best attire to welcome guests, as carried out and passed on to us by our ancestors.
