Where does your state rank? Are you doing your part and removing enough does off your property? Like removing small bass from your pond, does need to be harvested to increase the numbers and sizes of your trophy bucks. Just improving habitat and supplemental feeding does not work, some does need to be removed. Yes, its added work, and possibly more meat than you need. Supply some of your older friends that may not hunt anymore. Most states now take donated venison meat to feed the lesss fortinate and the homeless.

The latest and newly formatted Wildlife Trends Journal has hit mailboxes! Scott's article in this edition talks about reasons to start your lake over, and how to do it. Starting over is a last resort, but sometimes it is necessary to setback lake succession, to correct previous mistakes, or improve things after Mother Nature starts you over with circumstances beyond your control.

The magazine has many new features like the Land Market Report, Trends & Tips, Game Recipes, Conservation Corner, and Equipment Spotlight. All lead by new Editor Andy Barrs and support from Georgia Outdoor News.

It's time to get on our fall lake work schedule! We will be starting soon in North Carolina and working our way south eventually into Florida evaluating lakes, meeting with clients, and creating management strategies to help make your lake dreams come true. A great fishery does not happen by accident or luck, a great fishery happens with evaluation and creating a sound plan based on all information gathered. Contact us through Facebook, email: [email protected], or telephone: 214-385-6026.

That 10+ pond bass did not happen on accident, it happened because we made it happen!

Tomorrow is the last day to let your voice be heard. This move could undo what wetland conservationists have done to preserve natural resources for almost a century. In this case, numbers matter! Thank you!

For the past few years, Scott has been helping Moultrie test equipment before it goes to market on his property in North Carolina. Making suggestions on changes improving what is already there, to help professionals like him. Many of his posts on here and his personal page are with Moultrie cameras. He loves the crystal-clear photos and videos, along with other features on the camera that help the outdoorsman scout and/or monitor property. They are very well priced, and the app's monthly fee is less than phone lines for other cellular cameras. Check them out!
