POV: bowling night just met its perfect Hawaiian poke night. Just 20 minutes from our alpine escape, Bowl Incline has become one of our favorite family nights — the kids bowl, we all eat way too well off his chef Sam Choy’s Ohana Diner Hawaiian-inspired menu, and everyone leaves happy.

We got extra lucky a while back — Sam Choy himself taught a poke night, and the poke (and the stories) did not disappoint. What a night. I’m always on the look out for another evening like this - follow us to ensure you hear about the next one!

Funny enough, we also have an oceanfront condo in Kona, where Sam calls home too — and we’ve gotten to hang out with him there as well. Two of our favorite spots, one incredible guy connecting them both. When two worlds meet. 🎳🌺

After a day at the beach, everyone wants something different — and South Maui Gardens has it all. Tacos, burgers, poke, Thai, an artisan market, a giant chess match, and a tortoise who runs the place. This is the spot for a gorgeous Maui evening, no matter what everyone’s craving. Just an 8 min drive from our oceanfront condo, with plenty of parking close by - come relax and see why this is the place. 🌴

We found a working seahorse farm 20 minutes from our Kona condo - and they let us hold one. 🐴🌺

Turns out seahorses mate for life (did not have that on my Kona bingo card), and this little guy just... let us hold him.

Genuinely one of the coolest things we’ve done here.
