Monday, April 8, 2024 - DCSD has announced an Independent Learning Day for a safe community-wide Great American Eclipse event! From 1:45 PM to 4:21 PM, a partial solar eclipse will grace our Georgia skies.

Due to the Severe Weather advisory, will be closed on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. After-school and athletic events are also canceled. Student and staff safety remains a top priority. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and will resume normal operations as weather conditions permit.
