I knew something was kinda off today & couldn’t figure out what till I sat still long enough to check social media. Twenty Five years ago today my best friend, the beautiful matriarch of the Burns side of the family, Almeda Marie Burns aka Mom gained her heavenly wings. My children are so blessed to have had such a beautiful example of what being strong, kind, funny & positive looks like. I know she’s cutting up & making the angels laugh in heaven & I so look forward to hearing that laugh once again. Love & miss you so much Nana, rest easy till we meet again. ❤️❤️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️💔💔💔

We had such a fun & fast week in Dallas with the Littles & the girls for Christmas break! So thankful for every precious moment with each of them!! Forever grateful to God for retirement 💜💜💜🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

My uncle James Phillips will be laid to rest tmrw 12/27/25. A piece of my heart goes with him, he was such a gentle soul, so plz keep our family in your prayers🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Tomorrow my family and I will have the honor of saying goodbye to my grandaddy, James Henry Phillips Sr. We are all thankful and blessed to have had him apart of our lives. The past few years, I was granddaddy’s caretaker and I will cherish those years forever.

Thank you for everything you gave to us Grandaddy. We will miss and love you forever.

Last night 12/17/25 my favorite uncle James Phillips transitioned to his heavenly home. My uncle was one of the kindest & most gentle men I’ve ever known. Whenever I was in town (Nashville, TN) regardless of what was going on, he always asked “what you want to eat baby?” Immediately he’d cook me the most amazing food ever. I loved this man so much & he loved me. My 💔 bcuz I’ll never get to hug his neck again this side of heaven. Keep my cousins in your prayers (The Phillips family) as they just buried their mom & sister in 2023. Rest easy uncle James 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
