January is quickly becoming a month of side quest projects of things that drive me crazy in my house. Today I unbagged and sorted all the takeout cutlery that was stashed in a cabinet. Forks in one bags, spoons in another, knives in a third. Napkins (38 of them) will go in my car, along with a handful of sporks. Sidenote: ask for no cutlery when ordering from now on.

On Monday I get to step into an expanded role at the library, what I’ve been doing since 2020 but much more regular, and I’m kind of excited to have a set schedule again and kind of terrified at the loss of freedom of choice at the hours I work. But I love the library and my job so much that I think it’s going to be great.

I feel very lucky that I have had almost all positive reviews on Etsy to this point. I’m lucky that the one 2-star review I’ve gotten was actually a misunderstanding and I decided to message the customer to see if they would change it and they did!

Tonight, however, I discovered not one but two 1-star reviews. The reason? The scarves aren’t finished on the edges and it’s one big loop of fabric. And that would be a shocker to receive if it wasn’t CLEARLY STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION. So you best believe I responded to them publicly, which I have never done before. Please don’t hate an item and not contact me about it first because I can either explain why it is the way it is, or offer a solution. I’m so annoyed.

Indoor track season is over and the banquet is Thursday night, and I was in charge of the Senior gifts. I came into this ribbon in a roundabout way from and turned it into keychains, which I thought was a good choice for 17-18 year olds (plus and a card for ) 🏃 🏃‍♀️ 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️‍➡️🏃🏾‍♂️‍➡️🏃🏻‍➡️
