A year ago yesterday I became steroid free i never thought I’d see my skin back to normal after all the medications, $6,000.00 injections every 2 weeks, going on 11 pills of immune suppressants, going gluten and dairy free, drinking straight celery juice from morning until night, my skin falling off, blood all over the bed everyday, missing work, not being able to workout. This has been the hardest part of my life never in a million years would I think this would happen to me or even that Topical Steroid Withdrawal/ Red Skin Syndrome (Tachyphylaxis) was a thing but it is and most doctors will deny and tell you it’s just eczema and keep prescribing giving you the same s**t that started this in the first place! Just because people goto school for 6+ years doesn’t mean s**t at the end of the day people just want to get paid and keep you treated not getting you cured. If it wasn’t for my wife who stayed up every night researching keeping a positive mindset telling me this will all pass, my family and friends that actually gave a f**k i don’t know where I’d be today I love you all I appreciate you so much!

It’s crazy thinking how time really does fly by. 11 years together I don’t know how you’ve put up with me for that long but the news is you have 100 more to go bub! Thank you for everything from being the best girlfriend in the world to an awesome fiancé and now being the the most amazing wife any man could ask for! I feel like it was just yesterday I would get on the bus to Oceanside and walk to your house now to think we’ve been living together for 7 years is insane. Besides that I do want to thank you for being there when I needed it the most when my skin was falling off and all the doctors wanted to do was pump me with meds that were making everything worse, the sleepless nights of research on TSW, always setting up my bleach baths 🛀 and let me loose my s**t and then break down on those dark nights!
