Success!
Stayed up late and got up early to secure my client’s dining and tour reservations for their upcoming WDW vacation at the Grand Floridian!

⏰ Midnight:
Booking window for “Enchanting Extras” opened. Secured 3 fireworks experiences, a dining experience, and my favorite, Caring for Giants — a behind-the-scenes look at how they care for the elephants at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
⏰ 6am:
Booking window for Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) opened. Secured 9 dining reservations including
✅ multiple character dining ressies
✅ dining across all 4 parks, plus some resorts, and Disney Springs

🙈 Disney’s tech isn’t the best; this endeavor required my phone, my iPad, and my laptop. That’s one reason why I offer to do this for my clients! I like saving people the frustration and sleepless night! Neither of those are in the recipe for a magical vacation!

These folks are going all-out and I am here to help them do just that!
And now, more coffee. Lots and lots of coffee!

Bon voyage to the G family!

This trip has been a LONG time coming as they reached out over a year ago to get it booked! They are setting sail on Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady to the Last Frontier, Alaska!

Happy check-in day to the B family!

This is a mother-son trip celebrating a very special 13th birthday!

They’ll be hitting all 4 parks plus Disney Springs. I also was able to arrange an afternoon guided fishing tour in the Epcot resort area! I hope you land the big one!

As you may have heard, last week Walt Disney World announced that the beloved iconic attraction, Carousel of Progress, will be getting a long overdue update. In its current state, guests are seated in a rotating theater that takes them on an American journey from the turn of the century 1900s through the 1990s with a typical American family and their beloved dog. The original attraction is 60 years old and was designed by Walt Disney himself for the 1964-1965 World’s Fair. After that, the ride moved to Disneyland for 6 years. It was then dismantled and moved across the country to Walt Disney World in Florida where it opened in 1975 and has been running continuously ever since!

Each scene is punctuated by the Sherman Brothers classic, “It’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” — some love it, some give it ear worm status. I personally love it!

There has been a cry of dismay from longtime fans of the attraction. However, Walt Disney celebrated change and this update will honor his vision with an opening scene that will include an animatronic of Walt using his own words. New scenes will include the same family (even crotchety old Uncle Orville) beginning in the summer of 1969 with the family gathered around the tv set to witness one of our greatest achievements as humans: the historic moon landing. We then follow them on to the 80s and 90s — with turn-of-the-millennia Y2K craziness. The final scene will have the family settled in a futuristic home in outer space.

The attraction will close on 7/5/2026 with plans to reopen in 2027, with a more exact date to be announced in the future!

Another new ride debuted yesterday at Walt Disney World!
Over at EPCOT, Soarin’ Across America opened on all 3 of the 80’ IMAX screens!
This is a salute to the 250th birthday of the USA and replaces Soarin’ Around the World.

🗽 Statue of Liberty
🦞 Portland Head Light
🏛️ Washington Monument & the National Mall

🏜️ The Grand Canyon

🏝️ Waikīkī and Diamond Head
🎬 Griffith Observatory, the Hollywood Sign,
🇺🇸 Finale: patriotic fireworks over EPCOT! 🇺🇸

Opening today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster Starring the Muppets! 🎸🎢

💡 What you need to know: this is a re-theme not a complete ride renovation. Expect the same ride in the same cars but with new Muppets theming and a cool new soundtrack.
⚡️ How to ride: expect extremely long standby lines and difficult to get Lightning Lanes. If this ride is a priority, I would put your DHS day towards the end of your visit and make this ride’s Lightning Lanes reservation first!
