Mystery solved! 🕵️♀️✨
Remember the mystery $25 Disney Gift Card I received with the message, “A little pixie dust to thank you!”?
Well, I now know exactly who my mystery Disney fairy was. 😂
A few weeks ago, Megan, one of my fellow advisors at Fantastical Vacations, reached out because she had four families checking into Walt Disney World on the same day and needed some extra help with advance dining reservations.
One of those families had Cinderella’s Royal Table at the very top of their must-do list. If you know Disney dining, you know that is not exactly a reservation you casually snag. 😉 I was available, so I offered to help.
And I didn’t just get Cinderella’s Royal Table. I also managed to snag Topolino’s Terrace character breakfast, Space 220 Lounge, ‘Ohana character breakfast, and several other dining reservations for her client.
This morning, Megan asked if I had received the gift card she sent because she never got the confirmation that it had been delivered.
That’s when I got to tell her the whole story about the mysterious gift card, my Facebook post, and my investigation into the identity of my secret Disney fairy. We had a pretty good laugh over it. 😂
But honestly, the best part of this little story is the teamwork behind it.
At Fantastical Vacations, we really do help each other. Sometimes that means getting up early to help another advisor snag those hard-to-get Disney dining reservations. Other times, it means sharing firsthand destination knowledge, resort experience, cruise line expertise, or supplier insight when one of us is helping clients with a destination or travel product that’s new to us.
So thank you, Megan, for the pixie dust… and for being part of a team where we really do have each other’s backs. ❤️✨
