Our Annual Pine Island Clean up; A Little Lake Love Goes a Long Way.
❤️One of our favorite places on Lake of the Woods is Pine Island. With its beautiful sandy beaches and crystal-clear shoreline, it's a special place where families gather, friends picnic, and unforgettable summer memories are made.
☀️Each year as owners of XCape Boat Rentals and TowBoat LOTW we spend a day, sometimes two, collecting the garbage that has washed ashore or been left behind over the winter. From plastic bags and cans to fishing line and other debris, every little bit we remove helps protect this incredible place we all enjoy.
This isn't something we do because anyone asked us to. We simply love Lake of the Woods and believe it's our responsibility to help care for it.
We hope that by doing our small part today, generations to come will be able to enjoy Pine Island just as we do.

Alert 🚨‼️If you are traveling 4 Mile Bay through LightHouse Gap there is a deadhead right inside the gap!! Keep an eye out ‼️🚨

Also important to note that US Coast Guard regulations state NOT to impede a navigational channel. So, it is best not to anchor and fish right in the “gap.” *** it is our narrow channel into the lake.
