This customer brought their new purchase for an overheat alarm at low speed. After some torch time and finesse, the lower unit came off to reveal a worn out impeller. Also found the temperature gauge reading approximately 45° over actual temp. With a new water pump, temp gauge kit and fresh gear oil, she's running great and ready for some enjoyable time on the water.

Installed a new Garmin 9" unit to help with depth reading, mapping and possibly finding some fish 🐟

Water tests don't just verify the work performed actually fixed the issue. It also gives you the chance to ensure everything else on the boat is operating as it should. Just because it ran on the hose, does not mean it's going to run in the water.

This customer asked for a service at their boat house. He wanted the impeller and spark plugs changed as preventative maintenance, good thing he did because that impeller wasn't going to last much longer. Also found a damaged plug wire while changing plugs. Repaired the wire for temporary use and have a new set to put on so this one's ready for the summer.

It was a beautiful weekend to be on the water 🌊. This one got a fresh water pump, thermostat, throttle/shift cables and oil pump leak repaired. Also got to enjoy the best part of working on boats by running it around on the lake for a bit.

More gearcase work. Becoming a trend at the start of this season. Engine wouldn't shift properly. Upon inspection, found someone at some point installed the shift shaft and managed to miss the splined shift collar. Resealed the gearcase during reassembly and she's ready to go fish.

Customer complaint was running, shutoff and would not start back up. Test all the basics and find water in the fuel. Flush the fuel system on the engine, hook to auxiliary tank and she runs great again. Thankfully this was caught in time to avoid any fuel system failures. Noticed leaking gear oil, a pressure test revealed a failed upper driveshaft seal. Replace driveshaft seals, new water pump kit, fresh gear oil and she's back in action.
