Although the idea behind GEC Charters as a company is to offer a great experience for our travelers and to sell charters on catamaran we are also trying to provide a service to prospective trawler owners. Two of Joe Chaudoin’s, Co-Owner of GEC Charters, favorite quotes embody what our business is fundamentally about and both happen to be Walt Disney quotes.

With that said our company concept goes beyond just giving our clients a wonderful vacation our goals are to not only provide a great experience, bust also provide the opportunity to educate people on the Trawling lifestyle, rules of the water way, and general trawler ownership. Although it gives us great joy to see our customers have a wonderful vacation it brings us equal joy to see our customers go on to enjoy boat and trawler ownership themselves. This is why we offer two types of charters one for leisure cruising which includes both week and weekend packages, as well as learning charters. We hope our webpage also conveys this message and is the reason why we have created two different blogs. One is about our adventures our company goings on, while the other is specifically about boat ownership and how we arrived to the point we are at now. Grampstr's Pride spent the last week at Herrington Harbour Marina getting out of the way of the potential storms. What a wonderful location on Tracey's Creek, Maryland off of Drum Point. We took advantage of being in the yacht yard pulled from the water to get fall maintenance taken care of. Now we are ready and roaring to go with our fall Charter schedule.
Fall is a wonderful time to explore the Chesapeake. Come join us and have some fun⚓️⚓️⚓️
