Made of crinoline, a horse hair alternative, on a headband with a stabilizing comb. It can be worn on its own or in combination with a hat, halo crown, or with silk and leather flowers attached.

Blocking Monday!! I’m excited to get these off tomorrow and get wire and head size ribbons in them. Then the trimming can begin! I like all the steps of making a hat. Seeing them first take form, then securing the shape with wire, hand-sewing ribbons on the edges and the insides, trimming the hat with flowers, feathers and other millinery wonders and finally sewing in a lining and elastic and a comb to help keep it in place.
