Moved this gorgeous Mason & Hamlin BB concert grand at the beautiful Dante Alighieri Hall on 41 Hampshire Street in Cambridge for our great friends Mario, Richard and Sal! Love these guys and this absolutely amazing hall. This hall is one of Boston’s hidden gems and has absolutely amazing acoustics and facilities. If your planning a wedding, concert, meeting, party, etc. then you have to check out this venue. As a pianist myself, I can’t recommend this hall enough. It’s amazing!

Pulled this Pearl River Baby Grand out of a home in Saugus and brought it to a home in Marblehead. The original movers (6 guys according to the owners) damaged the piano in several areas as a result of not knowing how to move the piano and not covering the piano. They also severely damaged the home which was being repainted and repaired while we were there. We were called in to move it out, my son Kaya and I moved it very smoothly and stopped at the legendary Polcaris Italian Restaurant in Saugus for dinner afterwards.

3 movers tried getting this piano down these stairs which in the pictures don’t look terribly bad but, the overhang is low, no space at the top to drop the piano onto the stairs, stairs are very steep and narrow, no space at the bottom other than a 2x2 landing when you have a piano that’s almost 4’ high on its side. Flipped the piano up at the top, dropped it vertically down onto the stairs, built up the the bottom stairs with a dolly and blocks to increase landing size, flipped it straight up at the bottom, lifted it up on its side while turning it out the door. That’s what separates experienced piano movers from the rest. If only they called us first. Can’t be 33 years of only moving pianos.

When 2 other moving companies attempted this piano move and failed and told the owner it wouldn’t make the narrow landing and turn up these stairs, we came in, and Kaya and I brought it up no problem.
