I’ve been through things that could have easily broken me.

I’ve faced setbacks, heartbreak, disappointment, loss, mistakes, judgment, and obstacles that many people never saw behind the scenes.

But every challenge taught me something. Every setback became fuel. Every closed door pushed me to create my own.

These photos aren’t just about a ribbon cutting or opening a storefront. They’re proof that your past does not determine your future.

If you have a dream, chase it.
If you have a vision, protect it.
If you fall down, get back up.

There will always be people who doubt you, misunderstand you, or count you out. Keep going anyway.

✨ Friendly Reminder for My Lash Clients ✨

I love y’all, but let’s talk about being late real quick 😌

If you’re running late to your appointment, I will always give you 2 options:

1️⃣ Reschedule – If it’s within 24 hours, there’s a $25 deposit required to book again
2️⃣ Keep your appointment – BUT you still own that original time slot you booked

That means… if you show up 15–20 minutes late, I’ll work with the time we have 💅🏽
I do work fast, but there’s a chance your lashes may not be completely full—and that part is at your own risk/choice.

Also, I will not push back the next client’s appointment.
It’s not fair to them to be delayed because someone else was late.

I understand life happens, trust me 🤍
But this policy is in place because I have to protect my time and my clients’ time.

✨ Remodeling my shop has me in my feelings a little today.

Three years ago when I came home from prison, I had lost almost everything. Starting over wasn’t easy, but I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t let my mistakes define me. Instead, I used them as fuel to go harder and move more strategically.

Piece by piece I’ve been rebuilding my life, my peace, and my businesses.

What makes this moment even more emotional is thinking about my bonus son. He was hands-on with everything I did in my shop. He helped me with so much, and I even trained him in lashes because he believed he was going to go viral one day and help grow my brand.

He was actually supposed to be a big part of this remodel project. Losing him is one of the reasons the grand opening has taken me a little longer than expected. I ended up having to hire someone to do some of the things he was planning on doing.

But I know he would’ve wanted me to keep going and finish what we started.

Now the shop I moved into this January is getting its makeover, and I’m planning a Grand Opening once everything is complete.

Moments like this remind me how far I’ve come and how important it is to keep going for the people who believed in you.

Your past doesn’t define you… sometimes it just prepares you for the life you’re meant to build.
