East Tennessee lost a true legend and icon today.

Her music will play on, her kindness will be remembered, and her legacy will live on in the people and communities she touched.

Rest easy, Dolly. Thank you for the memories, the music, and all the love you gave the world. 🥰

Dolly Parton has died at the age of 80. The country music legend was known for songs including “Jolene,” “I Will Always Love You” and “9 to 5.” She also starred in movies like ‘Steel Magnolias’ and ‘The Best Little Wh******se in Texas’.

Today, we’re highlighting the man behind the mission-Barry, our President & CEO!

A Bristol native and childhood friend of Mike, Barry retired from the United States Air Force after a distinguished career serving our country. His commitment to service didn’t end with retirement-it simply took on a new mission: serving the Tri-Cities community.

Barry recognized a need for safe, dependable transportation and mobilized a team of warriors to create a transportation company our community can count on.

When you see Barry behind the wheel, you can be confident you’re in good hands. He leads Tri-City Shuttle Co. with the same core values that guided him throughout his Air Force career: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do.

Today, Tri-City Shuttle Co. is proud to highlight Mike, one of the founders of our company and a proud Bristol native.

Mike is an Army veteran who served more than 20 years, and his dedication to service didn’t stop when his military career ended. He was instrumental in making Tri-City Shuttle DOT certified and fully insured, allowing us to safely travel across state lines while providing our customers with an added level of protection and peace of mind. We are proud to be the only shuttle company in the Tri-Cities that is DOT certified.

Mike has also been on the front lines of our business, working all hours of the day and night to transport customers and make sure they get where they need to go.

So, when you see Mike behind the wheel, you can be certain, you’re in safe hands. We’re grateful for his service, his dedication, and everything he continues to bring to Tri-City Shuttle.
