Shorefront Toys for Tots was founded by Brian Gotlieb in memory of his mother and my friend, Myrna Helene Gotlieb, who passed away in 1993 at the age of 52. Myrna always stressed the importance of giving back and helping those in need – particularly children. Following in her footsteps, Brian decided to work on issues that affected children and created Shorefront Toys for Tots in 1995. Primarily d

esigned to distribute gifts to sick and underprivileged children throughout the Chanukah, Christmas and Kwanzaa holiday seasons, Shorefront Toys for Tots has thus far reached out to more than 43,000 children. Having personally participated in the distribution of toys, I can tell you that there is nothing like seeing the face of a child light up as he or she receives a new toy.
