Before you fly out the country, make sure your passport is valid, your entry forms are complete, and you’re prepared for resort fees, incidental deposits, and possible tourism taxes that are NOT included in vacation packages.

Yes, that means:

✔ Hotels may hold $100+ per night for incidentals
✔ Some destinations charge tourism or environmental fees
✔ Resort fees are paid directly at check-in
