🌊 Let’s talk about sargassum…

This was the beach during one of my trips to Cancun.

Was it disappointing to see? A little, yes.

But here’s what many people don’t realize:

✔️ Sargassum is a naturally occurring seaweed.
✔️ It changes throughout the year and even from day to day.
✔️ Some beaches and destinations are affected much more than others.
✔️ Many resorts work hard to remove it daily.

One photo doesn’t tell the whole story, which is why choosing the right destination and time of year can make a big difference.

One thing people don’t always realize about all-inclusive resorts is that they can actually be really fun depending on the vibe you want!

A lot of resorts have things like:
🍹 pool games
🎶 live music
🫧 foam parties
💃 themed nights
🎤 entertainment shows

So even if you spend most of the day relaxing by the pool, there’s usually always something going on.

This foam party was definitely one of the most fun resort activities!

One of the coolest travel experiences I’ve ever done 🐒🌴

A few years ago we visited Myrtle Beach Safari and got to meet a chimpanzee up close, along with tigers, a lemur, baby black leopard, and a liger. Definitely one of those once in a lifetime memories 🦁

I think people sometimes forget that travel doesn’t always have to mean just beaches or resorts.
