October 21 - Wednesday - low and clear to start the day. The river is rising at Norfork and I expect we will get over 4+ feet today.

Mary and Stephen fished a full day with Ron. Stephan had the catch of the day with a beautiful 17inch rainbow. Mary snuck a picture of Ron.

Tony and Chad fished with Cobb while Ron and Marge fished Caleb. Even with the low water the guides were able to make it up river and find some nice trout.

Tuesday October 20 - low and clear to start the morning. I expect we will have a little rise but not much. Foggy and chilly start to the morning.

It was a crazy busy day with 4 full day guide trips, 2 afternoon half day guide trips and 5 full day boat rentals. Lots of families and friends fishing today. Not as many pictures as I would like but not everyone kept fish or wanted their picture taken.
Cobb and Jeff guided the Hook boys for a full day. Alway good to see Bob, Tom, Jim and Ben for their annual trip.
Ron guided Hardin boys. Always great to see them when they come in for their semi-annual trips.
Colby guided David and his wife. They are great repeat customers.
Teddy and Jacob guided Frank, Brooklyn, Chris, Sherry and Diana. Brooklyn and her grandfather Frank hunted deer this morning and the family trout fished in the afternoon. Great family and we hope to see them again.
Charlie, Jamie, Joe and Mike rented boats the last three days. These men know how to put trout in the boat.
Chris brought Jeff and Jeff’s son Hunter. Hunter had never caught a trout but they remedied that problem today.
Steven and his crew rented boats for the second day. It was great seeing them again and they all took home nice limits of trout each day.

Saturday October 17 - water is low and clear with no water coming. Chilly start to the morning but will get up to the low 60s. Great day to throw artificial lures.

Friday October 16 - windy day and the river is starting out under 3 feet. Will probably get up to above 5 feet today.

10/15/2026

Beautiful day at Jenkins Fishing. Fishing was consistent for most of the day. Time to call it a day and head home to recharge and do it all again tomorrow.
