✨ Magic Made Simple: Your first Disney day doesn't have to be a park day!
After traveling to Walt Disney World, it can be tempting to drop your bags and head straight for the parks—but sometimes slowing down on arrival day is exactly what your vacation needs.
Check out your resort, grab something to eat, spend some time at the pool, visit Disney Springs, or simply relax and get settled before the park days begin. ☀️
It can also be a great way to save that first park ticket for a day when you have more time to enjoy it.
Of course, there's no one “right” way to do arrival day. An early morning flight might make a park day perfect, while an afternoon arrival may be better spent settling in.
That's one of the things I love about vacation planning—building the trip around what works for you, rather than trying to fit everyone into the same itinerary. 💛

✨ Spotlight Saturday: Disney After Hours 🌙🏰
Would I do Disney After Hours again? Absolutely.
We tried After Hours at Magic Kingdom this summer, and one of my favorite parts was getting to experience the park in a completely different way.
There’s something pretty special about being in Magic Kingdom late at night with fewer people around. We enjoyed lower wait times, snacks included with the event, and time to slow down and simply enjoy the park after dark.
Disney After Hours is a separately ticketed, limited-capacity event, and 2027 tickets are now available for guests looking to add a little extra park time to their vacation. ✨
Is After Hours worth adding to your Disney vacation? That can depend on your family, your plans and what you want to get out of your park time—and that's exactly the kind of thing I can help you figure out. 💛

Fall has officially taken over Magic Kingdom, and I have to admit—this view makes it very hard not to start planning another trip.

I love seeing how the parks change with the seasons. Sometimes it’s the big events, but sometimes it’s something as simple as spotting Mickey pumpkins on Main Street that makes the whole day feel different.

So let’s have a little Sunday-night Disney daydream…

If you could walk into Magic Kingdom tonight, what would you do first?

Disney Cruise Line’s Fall 2027 sailings from New York City are now open for general booking! ✨

The Disney Wish will set sail from NYC on seven special 4- to 7-night voyages, including:

🏝️ Sailings to beautiful Bermuda
🍁 Sailings along New England and Canada’s Atlantic coast

Three of the Bermuda sailings even include an extra day to enjoy the island!

There’s something extra exciting about starting a Disney vacation right here in New York. 🗽❤️

You don’t have to do it all.

It’s so easy to look at a Disney vacation and feel like you need to fit in every ride, every show, every restaurant and every bit of magic.

But sometimes, the magic is in slowing down long enough to enjoy the view. 💙

Take the break. Wander through the shops. Stop for a snack. Sit and enjoy the atmosphere. And if something else sounds more fun, it’s okay to change the plan!

Some of our favorite Disney memories have come from the moments we didn’t plan. ✨

Fall is such a fun time at Walt Disney World! 🎃✨

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is in full swing at Magic Kingdom, with Halloween decorations, special entertainment, characters, treats and plenty of spooky (but not-so-scary!) fun.

Over at EPCOT, the International Food & W**e Festival is underway, bringing flavors from around the world to the park. 🌎🍴

From pumpkins on Main Street to tasting your way around EPCOT, there’s so much fall fun happening around Walt Disney World.

Here’s to a September filled with a little extra Disney magic! ✨

Starting August 27, EPCOT will once again be filled with flavors from around the world as the International Food & W**e Festival returns! ✨

One of the fun parts of visiting EPCOT during festival season is wandering around World Showcase, trying something new and discovering a few favorites along the way.
