One of the coolest things at Devossion Resort is the Speak Easy Adventure. We were told there’s a hidden bar but there’s no signage etc. It took a few tries but we found it after opening a door marked emergency exit only and going down some very dark stairs! We were the only guests there - it’s really hidden! Another way using me as your travel agent can help you - I’ll let you know what doors will set off alarms and what ones lead to a fun bar!

🌴✈️ Travel Agent Adventure! ✈️🌴
I’m in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, on my first agent trip to Devossion Resort! We are getting to experience the all inclusive resort firsthand—from the beautiful beach and infinity pools to the dining, rooms, and all the little details that matter when planning the perfect vacation. I’ve never been to such a fancy place so everything’s amazing to me - free room service, fully stocked fridge with free beer, bottled water,soda and snacks and even a chocolate by my bed each night after turn down service. I also love that our room had a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board when we checked in!

🚂 From Denver to Salt Lake City... one unforgettable journey.
Some trips are about the destination. This one is just as much about the journey.
I recently experienced the 5-day Canyon Spirit rail adventure from Denver to Salt Lake City, and it was one of the most scenic train trips I've ever taken.
From the towering peaks of the Rockies to the dramatic red rock landscapes of Moab, every day brought incredible views that you simply can't experience from the highway. Along the way we watched wildlife, traveled through deep canyons, crossed rushing rivers, enjoyed locally inspired meals onboard, and learned about the history, geology, and people who shaped the American West.
We explored charming mountain towns, experienced the adventure and beauty of Moab, and ended our journey in Salt Lake City. One thing I loved most about Canyon Spirit is that it combines the relaxation of train travel with immersive sightseeing. You spend your days taking in spectacular scenery from panoramic windows instead of worrying about traffic, and your evenings are spent in comfortable hotels, ready for the next day's adventure.
If you've ever dreamed of seeing the American West in a different way, I can't recommend this trip enough. It's perfect for couples, friends, retirees, or anyone who wants to slow down and truly enjoy the journey.

Confession... Salt Lake City completely caught me by surprise!
As a travel agent, I've learned that some destinations exceed expectations, and this was definitely one of them. We had so much fun at the Museum of Illusions, grabbed great food and drinks at Flanker Kitchen + Sporting Club, and of course I drove Frank crazy singing ‘We’re All In This Together’ since East High is right in the city.

What I loved most was how easy the city was to explore. It's clean, welcoming, surrounded by the stunning Wasatch Mountains, and offers such a fun mix of city life and outdoor adventure.

One of the coolest things about Salt Lake City is its Olympic legacy. The city hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics and is gearing up to host the Winter Games again in 2034! You can even visit Utah Olympic Park, where athletes still train year-round and visitors can watch ski jumpers, ride the alpine slide, and experience Olympic history up close.

Between the mountain views, great food, unique attractions, and all the history, Salt Lake City has officially earned a spot on my list of favorite U.S. cities. Professional development looks a little different these days! 🍍🍹
When I taught first grade, day drinking during training was definitely frowned upon. 😂 Now my "PD" involves a pineapple cocktail, an amazing filet, and way too many desserts at Capital Grille.
Best of all, I spent the day learning all about Mexico—its resorts, destinations, and all the little details that help me plan unforgettable vacations.
