One of the questions I get ALL the time:

“Do you think Universal would be a good fit for our family?”

And honestly? Sometimes the answer is YES… and sometimes I’d tell you Disney is the better choice.

Universal can be an amazing vacation for families, especially if you have thrill seekers, Harry Potter fans, tweens/teens, or a family who has done Disney a LOT and is ready for something different.

But just because you *can* do Universal doesn’t mean it’s automatically the right vacation for your family.

That’s where I come in. ❤️

I want to know who’s traveling, what your kids are into, what kind of vacation you want, and what matters most to you before I recommend where you should spend your vacation dollars.

Because the goal isn't to sell you a destination.

🎈Okay, this is one of those little Disney tips that I wish more people knew before their trip! 👇

There is a reason many people purchase one of these iconic balloons as soon as they begin their Disney vacation.

Many Disney World resort rooms have motion-sensored A/C, which means it can shut off if the room isn’t detecting movement — even while you’re sleeping. 🥵

Here’s the fun little trick: grab a balloon from the parks and let it float around your room. 🎈 The movement can help keep the sensor active so your room stays nice and cool while you’re sleeping or out enjoying the parks.

Is it a little silly? Maybe. 😂
Does it work? It sure can!

And honestly, I’m all for a little Disney magic AND a cool, comfortable room after a long day in the parks. ❄️✨

One of the biggest misconceptions about using a travel advisor is that I just “book the trip.”

And while yes, I *do* handle the booking…that’s really just the beginning. 😉

When you reach out to me, I’m not just looking for a room or a cruise that’s available.

I’m learning about your family, your travel style, your priorities, your budget, and what you actually want this vacation to feel like.

Then I’m researching, comparing, planning, watching for opportunities, helping you make decisions, and taking a whole lot of the work off your plate.

Because your vacation should be something you’re excited about—not another project on your to-do list.

That’s the difference between simply booking a trip and having someone plan your vacation. ❤️

That’s what I mean when I say concierge-level service.

✈️ TRAVEL TIP TUESDAY ✈️

Do your future self a favor: schedule a grocery delivery for the day you get home. 🛒🙌

Because nothing brings you back to reality quite like walking into an empty refrigerator after a week of vacation. 😂

Before you leave—or while you’re relaxing by the pool—place an order for the basics: milk, eggs, bread, fruit, easy breakfast foods, and maybe something simple for dinner.

Then when you get home tired, staring at a mountain of laundry, and wondering why no one unpacked the suitcases while you were gone… at least you don't have to go to the grocery store. 😂

It’s such a small thing, but as a mom, I’m ALL about making that transition back to real life a little easier.

✨ Great travel isn’t just about the trip itself—it’s also about making everything surrounding it feel a little less stressful.
