I have lots to say, many more questions to ask - unfortunately, I do not have the time to give it the attention it deserves. I'll try again later, or tomorrow, but I wanted to drop something on here so no one thinks I've vanished.
On a side note, what is going on with the delivery drivers lately? It's not just Amazon contracted drivers who are unable to find the correct address, but UPS, and FedEx lately too. The FedEx contract companies in the area apparently traded some routes between them a couple weeks ago (though by now, I figured they would have things more figured out). In less than a months time the local drivers have all been swapped out twice!
I can tell you that I'm no fan of any of the current drivers. Their inability to correctly deliver anything has caused more of a headache than it's been worth recently. Don't get me started on how random the delivery times are now verses the small window in which the other drivers would deliver.
At the end of the day, FedEx & FedEx Express will be finishing their merge next week, until that happens, there's not much point pitching a fit to get either of those routes fixed.. at least not until after it's known which of the drivers will be kept on that route.. and in case you didn't know, FedEx decided about a year ago to merge back together under FedEx One (no more separate trucks for ground & express), about two months ago it was leaked that FedEx was not bringing all drivers back under their umbrella but moving all drivers over to subcontracted routes. Then locally we had all of our drivers (ground & express) either switch to other companies, or leave the area entirely. Now we're days away to what you think is terrible getting increasingly worse.. But what do I know..
**A fully opinionated, loaded with questions, locally focused piece will be coming soon, keep your eyes on the page, it's going to be a good read**
