Nautical Tech Solutions, LLC is a locally owned and operated boat repair business that started with one thing in mind - YOU! Our goal is to provide straight forward and honest boat repairs. We will work with you to get accurate assessments of all running systems and provide you with the best repair recommendations as well as proper upkeep instructions to keep your boat running all year long! We use original manufacturer equipment or better quality components that last.
Jeff Kish, owner, was born in New Jersey, but grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Lancaster is home to one of the largest Amish populations in the United States, but despite being in such a rural location, he grew up living at and around different marinas. Jeff was always fascinated by boats and at the age of 13, he started helping his step-father, Ray, who worked at a local boat sales facility. Together, they did repairs, they built boats, and even sold them. He worked there until he was 16. After he graduated high school, he joined the Army. He was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne, an airborne infantry division. Stationed at Fort Bragg, Jeff fell in love with North Carolina and parachuting. He left the army after a parachuting accident in which he injured his back. After the army, he decided to remain in North Carolina and he went back to the only thing he knew...boats! He has worked hard and obtained many certifications over the years. He is a Yamaha certified outboard technician, he has Kohler Generators service training, he is a Mercury Outboard Systems I Specialist, and has training in Mercury Marine Technicians Fundamentals. Throughout it all, Jeff has always belived in one thing - boat repairs should be done right the first time around and that's what this business is all about. Integrity. Honesty.
