Our Asia and Europe teams completed the first shipment for a project in the Ukraine. The new factory will use the equipment for oil extraction from soybeans and maize for the production of salad oil and oleochemicals. Our teams faced a very tight deadline, moving the bigger pieces during Christmas and loading them on New Years eve. A big thanks to our teams, especially our port captains for their hard work during Christmas and New Years Eve, and our client for making this a smooth start to the project!

Want to learn more about our past projects? In 2012 Central Oceans was responsible for moving 1 LM 6000 Brush Generator and all necessary accessories from Alaska to Seattle. We designed and implemented a barge stow plan for 4 barge sailings, performed terminal and route surveys, loaded RoRo trailers with all components, and loaded all components to both trailers and standard flatbeds, along with other tasks.

Tubes for Chile! A shipment of finned tubes destined for South America have been successfully loaded in thanks to our teams in Thailand and Singapore, as well as our valued partner in Belgium. Under the supervision of our own port captain, the long fragile tubes were loaded and stowed successfully under deck. The tubes will be used in Chile in the expansion of one of the main generators. We would like to thank all parties involved!

Margarine for Brazil! Our Belgium and Asia teams have completed the first of several shipments with machinery for a new factory in Brazil. The machines will be used to extract vegetable oil for margarine production. We owe the smooth shipment from India to Brazil, including a complicated transshipment in the port of Antwerp, to the teamwork between different offices and our port captains. We wish the teams a successful completion of the project and Brazil some very good margarine!

No Access? No Problem! Our customer’s unit was physically stuck in Lubbock, TX due to wash out conditions. The unit was inaccessible by car or truck, so a member of our Central Oceans team walked 1 mile through ankle deep mud each way to inspect the unit for damage, assess the situation, and develop a contingency plan based on road and site conditions. Despite the weather, the project was successful!
