I’m taking an art appreciation class as part of my prerequisites for nursing school. I had an assignment that’s due Monday where I had to visit an art gallary, museum, or exhibition and analyze a piece of art. I chose Waterworks Visual Art Gallary in Salisbury to visit with Levi in tow today. I chose it because I was free but I never expected to have a once in a lifetime opportunity while there! I was able to view original paintings, one from Charles Monet painted in 1887 (1st picture) and 3 originals from Pablo Picasso from various years! I can not describe how much more vibrant and alive these painting were in real life. They don’t allow photography so these couple pictures are what I could find online. I don’t know how long the exhibit will be there but I highly recommend you take the time to view these amazing pieces yourself, you will likely never have the opportunity again. The Picasso paintings are still under copyright so I couldn’t even find pictures of them online. I found one that was similar to one they have but not quite the same.
