As a child and adolescent, I could often be found drawing. Somewhere along the way, life got in the way and I stopped being as creative. But in the last couple years, I have began art and design once again. I realized I am at my happiest and most calm when I can be creative. The art and designs I make and by extension the products I make, are inspired by the things important to me and the things t

hat I enjoy - the occult & esoteric, mental health/illness, fat (body) positivity, gender expression, being queer, plants, and affirmations. I combined my last name with my life partner's last name to come up with the name "Hawburns Studio." I appreciate you taking the time to take a look at my shop. Hey friends! Sorry it’s been a little while. Surviving late pregnancy is hard…who would have thought 😅 we have two events in August and sadly (but for a happy reason) these are our last events of the year! Dan will be solo vending at these events because he is the best. Come see him and get your fill of Hawburns Studio in person while you can. We will be back to vending at markets next year with a brand new addition 🐣

My online shop is tentatively closing on August 16th at midnight 👀 I might extend that date through the 23rd but it all depends on when baby decides to make an entrance. The online shop will be on vacation mode for the foreseeable future but I’ll probably have it open again before the holidays. I’m not putting an exact date on it because I have no idea how raising a baby will be and want to give myself ample time to adjust before coming back. But as soon as I know, I’ll let you lovely folks know. Everything in my online shop is 35% off through August 16th!

It’s time for West Allis Wares Fair hosted by Graveyard Gallery MKE ! We are at Ope Brewing Co until 5 pm. This is the last market I (Jess) is doing this Summer because I am far too pregnant and sore to keep doing markets. Dan is a trooper and a saint so he will be doing our last two summer markets with a helper (Atwood Fest and Outreach Pride). While I’m excited for the next chapter of our life, I will definitely miss doing markets while I’m on maternity leave. So come see us today if you can! We’d love to see your smiling face 😃

It’s time for the first ever alamodemarketwi ! We are at the lovely Aubergine Community Space (across from W***y St Co-op) from 12 pm to 5 pm 🦩 there are 25 incredibly cute vendors with all sorts of lovely things to peruse. There is an awesome raffle going on to benefit farmbirdsanctuary and future À la Mode Markets! Come on out and see the culmination of all our hard work 🎊

Restocked two of the fan favorite felt plushies just in time for the inaugural alamodemarketwi !

We will be at the À la Mode Summer Market tomorrow, 7/11, from 12 pm to 5 pm. The market is held at the Aubergine Community Space across from the W***y St Co-Op. À la Mode is a celebration of all things cute and kawaii. There will be 25 awesome vendors including a savory bakery vendor (my sister Bumpy T’s Bakery ). We are also putting on a fundraiser to raise money for farmbirdsanctuary and future À la Mode Markets! For $5, you get an exclusive sticker and a chance to win a bigger prize donated by our vendors and organizers. My friends and I spent many months planning this one of a kind themed market. I’m so excited to see all our work from to fruition. Please come out and make your Saturday as cute as possible!!

It’s already July! June was so busy and just flew by 😮‍💨 now we are on the July with 4 spectacular events over 5 days! We are so pumped for these events and hope you’ll come see us 💖

7/11 - alamodemarketwi has finally here after months of planning! I helped to organize this market so I know for certain it was curated and created with love and care. The market will be held at Aubergine Community Space (across from W***y St Co-op) and it goes from 12 pm to 5 pm. There are 25 extra cute vendors for you to peruse. Don’t miss out! 🦩

7/12 - The Summer Eclectic Market is an awesome nature/animal themed market in the heart of Fox Valley. The market will be held Appleton Beer Factory from 11 am to 4 pm. This is our last Eclectic Market for a while since baby is on the way! We would really love to see you and we know you’ll have a great time shopping, drinking, and eating good food 🍏

7/18 - The West Allis Wares Fair is hosted by Graveyard Gallery MKE and is the first market of its kind! Graveyard Gallery specializes in themed markets but this one is different. This market is an unthemed seasonal pop-up market made for everyone! The market will be held at Ope Brewing Co from 12 pm to 5 pm. Also, I designed the flyer for this one so you know it’s gonna be good 🦆

7/25 & 7/26 - AtwoodFest is one of our favorite street festivals of the year! Since baby will be here soon we have to miss out on a couple other street festivals we would normally vend at. Atwood Fest is a music festival filled with craft, food, and drink vendors. The vibes are immaculate as the community comes together to celebrate the vibrant Atwood neighborhood. The fest is held on the 2000-2100 blocks of Atwood Ave. We (aka Dan and a helper) will be there from 12 pm to roughly 7 pm. Come see us!

It’s time!!! We are all setup for The Biggest Gayest Market around The Big Gay Market - Madison, WI ! We are here at Alliant Energy Center tonight from 5pm to 10pm. Tonight’s market is 18+ and has ticketed entry for $15 👀 it’s also my birthday so come and see us 💖
Tomorrow’s market is from 10 am to 5 pm. Tomorrow we are holding our creature stamp rally you won’t want to miss out on. Sunday’s market is from 10 am to 2 pm and masks are required.

You can pick up your prizes at The Crafting Octopus’ booth (pictured on the map). This lasts until supplies run out so get there early to guarantee your spot. The Saturday market runs from 10 am to 5pm at Alliant Energy Center
