Billys Vintage Iron

Billys Vintage Iron American and British old school vintage iron. Customized and chopped. Billy Favata, has been building vintage bikes from the frame up for the last 22 years.

Born in Plymouth, in the U.K. , his first frame up build was a 1960 B33 B.S.A. Cafe Racer. Which, at the time, was his only form of transportation , and subsequently got ridden ( literally ) the length and breadth of the country. From '92 on he has been living in the U.S. , and has continued to build custom rides that can be used on a daily basis. As for his everyday vehicles ? One is in the form

of a '53 Chevy Pick-up , and another is a '73 Shovelhead Harley. You can visit his Chicago shop, but by appointment only, so drop him an e-mail or call first.

Do it for kids they say! Well this one’s for the kids, this is for the Chicago History Museum it’s an interactive exhibit where you can step up, climb on and peddle your brains out. The previous one was jumping off the rollers, this one will be installed soon so swing by and check it out.
