Do you like helping people & being part of a dynamic team? DRS is looking for someone to join our amazing team of caring professionals assisting older adults with later life transitions.

Projects include sorting, organizing, helping client downsize, packing/unpacking, and setting up their new homes. The flexible scheduling throughout the week makes this a good fit for parents with kids in school, or creative folks with evening/weekend commitments. We’re looking for someone caring and professional who wants to work within a supportive, knowledgeable team. No two days are exactly the same, working all over the city & suburbs, with people of all ages- great for those who value novelty and variation in their work.

Team Member/Team Lead Part Time Position; Pay rate $21 - $23 per hour
Requirements: Reliable transportation to jobs throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs; Availability M-F between the hours of 9-5; Strong work ethic and the ability to stay organized in dynamic environments

When we’re working on an estate project, family photos and memorabilia will always be set aside to double check: Should this be saved? Because some things are truly irreplaceable. When we’re trusted to sort through a home, we make sure we know what to keep an eye out for– especially when family isn’t onsite.

Your workspace doesn’t have to be disrupted in a move. Really! Move managers take care to set files back exactly in order, keep your drawers organized so things are right where you expect them, and even put that same pile of papers back on top of your desk- so you can pick up where you left off. A transition doesn’t have to mean turmoil. It can simply be another day.

Don’t count on overhead lighting; not all buildings have this in their units. You may need to plan a lamp or two for each room. Move managers can help you know what to expect, then make sure your lights are all set up well before sundown on move day- so you can settle in with ease.
