I still remember stepping off the plane in Southeast Asia in 2022, the humid air wrapping around me like a promise of adventure. I was traveling with a small group, strangers at first, yet quickly bonded by laughter over street food and the shared thrill of getting a little lost in a new city.
And then it hit me. I wasn’t the only one feeling this way. Around me, people from all walks of life were quietly craving the same thing—an escape, a story, a world that felt bigger than their daily routine.
That moment, standing there in the middle of a bustling night market, I realized: there are so many people out there who want to see the world.
That’s when the idea for Lola Plans Travels was born. It wasn’t about luxury or status. It wasn’t about ticking destinations off a map. It was about connecting people with experiences that awaken them, that remind them who they are.
