Good evening everybody!!!!

The truck driver procession to the Shrine is quickly approaching and wanted to ask for some amazing volunteers to make tamales, help the marshalling team at the yard, and the the first time we need some elves to help wrap the Christmas gifts after we collect them from the drivers. The date to make the tamales is on November 29 (day after Thanksgiving), the event is on the 30th (marshalling volunteers are needed to arrive around 1030am until around 1230) and the date for the gift wrapping will probably be December 7,2024. Look forward to seeing you guys again this year!

La Procession de Troqueros al Santuario se aproxima y como siempre busco voluntarios para hacer los tamales, ayudar dirigir los camiones en la yarda el día del evento al igual que un grupo que nos ayude a enredar los regalos de los niños que se colecten ese dia. La fecha para hacer los tamales será el 29 de Noviembre (día después de Thanksgiving), el día del evento será el 30 de Noviembre, y el grupo de voluntarios para enredar regalos será el 7 de Diciembre.

Cualquier ayuda es muy bienvenida!!!

Good Morning to the Mainland family & friends. The semi truck pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is on November 30, 2024. We will be sending all previous attendes the registrations out by the end of this week and will open up the registration to newcomers if space is available. Please remember that this is one of the several groups that arrive at the Shrine, our group starts at 15th & Western.

Buenos días a la familia y amigos de Mainland. La peregrinación en camión al Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe es el 30 de noviembre de 2024. Enviaremos las inscripciones a todos los asistentes anteriores a finales de esta semana y abriremos la inscripción a los que no nos an acompanado en anos previos si hay espacio disponible. Por favor recuerde que este es uno de los varios grupos que llegan al Santuario, nuestro grupo comienza en la 15 y Western.

Good afternoon everyone!
It is my pleasure to announce the registration for the 2023 Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. There are other convoys that day so make sure you are aware of which one you're signing up for. The date is on December 2, 2023 and we take off from our yard at 15th & Western in Chicago. We are currently working on all the details but we want to get the registration started to get an idea of how many trucks are coming. Please make sure you register even if you're not sure you are able to attend. It's better to plan for more rather than not planning for enough. Please forward this registration to anyone that may be interested in joining. I am so happy to report that representatives from the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be joining us at the yard to give us a special blessing before we take off to the Shrine. There will also be changes to the route to prevent the split we had last year (there was some construction that we weren't aware of that caused the split). We will be working with all the aldermen of the wards we're passing through to make sure there will be no construction along the route. This year we will be picking a different route that allows for 13'6" trucks so that we don't have to split up. Once all the details are completed then we will be contacting you with all that information, we look forward to seeing you!

Es un placer para mí anunciarles la inscripción para la Peregrinación 2023 al Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. Hay otros convoyes ese día así que asegúrese de saber en cuál se está inscribiendo. La fecha es el 2 de diciembre de 2023 y despegamos desde nuestro lote en la 15 & Western en Chicago. Actualmente estamos trabajando en todos los detalles pero queremos comenzar con el registro para tener una idea de cuántos camiones vendrán. Asegúrese de registrarse incluso si no está seguro de poder asistir. Es mejor planificar para más camiones que no planificar lo suficiente. Envíe este registro a cualquier persona que pueda estar interesada en unirse. Me alegra mucho informarles que representantes del Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe se unirán a nosotros en el lote para darnos una bendición especial antes de partir hacia el Santuario. También habrá cambios en la ruta para evitar la división que tuvimos el año pasado (hubo algunas obras de construccion las que no estábamos conscientes que causaron la división). Trabajaremos con todos los concejales de los distritos por los que pasaremos para asegurarnos de que no haya construcciones a lo largo de la ruta. Este año elegiremos una ruta diferente que permita camiones de 13'6" para que no tengamos que dividirnos. Una vez que se completen todos los detalles, nos comunicaremos con usted con toda esa información, esperamos verlo.

For all those of you wanting to see our procession from the sidelines below is the map of the route along with approximate times we will be passing through the major intersections. We also have included a live location link so you can click on it and see where we are along the route. Last year the link did not work because the GPS was disconnected accidentally however this year we will make sure it is on. We hope to see everyone there!

Para todos aquellos que quieran ver nuestra procesión en persona, a continuación se encuentra el mapa de la ruta junto con los tiempos aproximados en los que pasaremos por las principales intersecciones. También hemos incluido un enlace de ubicación en vivo para que pueda hacer clic en él y ver dónde estamos a lo largo de la ruta. El año pasado el enlace no funcionó porque el GPS se desconectó accidentalmente, sin embargo este año nos aseguraremos de que esté encendido. ¡Esperamos verlos a todos allí!

PEREGRINACION DE CAMIONES AL CERRITO DE TEPEYAC EN DES PLAINES, IL

Los invitamos a todos los troqueros de la área de Chicago y sus alrededores que nos acompañen en peregrinacion para la Misa y Bendición de camiones. La invitación es abierta para cualquier persona y no ay costo. Se llevará acabo el 3 de Diciembre saliendo de la 1500 S Western Chicago, IL al Cerrito apartir de las 2pm en punto. La misa sera apartir de las 5pm y seguira con la bendicion de los camiones. Todo aquel que guste acompañarnos favor de registrarse en el link abajo o llamarnos al 773-459-8017 y preguntar por Mari. Toda aquella persona que guste mirar la peregrinacion en persona les estaremos dando actualizaciones sobre nuestra locación en la ruta para que puedan mirarnos mientras pasamos. Nuestra ruta empieza en la 15 y Western hacia el norte, llegando a la Milwaukee allí agarramos hacia el West a la Central Road, llegando a la Central Road nos giramos al West con dirección a la River road, River road al Norte hasta llegar a la entrada de camiones del Cerrito.
