While DePaul’s administration has proven itself to be against intersectional values and supporting community health for the oppressed groups that they claim to support, Students For Reproductive Justice are committed to ensuring sexual health, comprehensive sex education, and reproductive justice for all bodies. We are fighting for reproductive justice (term coined by SisterSong). We recognize rep
roductive injustice as a threat to the community. We stand against gender and racial violence, police brutality, mass incarceration, and the brutality of war. We understand that these are attacks on reproductive justice. We will resist these systems of oppression until there are safe and sustainable communities. We identify as pan womanist and radical feminists, meaning we oppose all sexist oppression, the forces of capitalism, colonization and stand in solidarity with all races, incomes, genders, and abilities. Together we aim to create spaces on and off campus to build community and solidarity with people and groups that are affected by reproductive injustices at DePaul. We fully support the pro-choice agenda along with access to affordable childcare and free birth control. We demand full free access to distribution of condoms on campus as well as prevention and screening for STI’s and STD’s. We are determined to cultivate a healthy campus environment free of sexual violence of all kinds. Together we aim to create spaces both on and off campus to build community and solidarity with individuals and groups of people that are affected by reproductive injustices at DePaul. This includes education, access to resources, and positive, inclusive spaces.
