Big things happened at True North Marine last week!

We were excited to host on-site product and installation training with Webasto at our facility as part of becoming a new authorized distributor for our area. Our team spent the week learning more about Webasto’s industry-leading marine climate control and heating systems, including proper installation, setup, troubleshooting, and product applications.

This partnership allows us to now sell, service, and professionally install new Webasto equipment for our customers right here on the Gulf Coast. Whether you are looking to upgrade your vessel’s air conditioning, heating, or onboard comfort systems, our team is ready to help with expert guidance, installation, and support.

A huge thank you to Webasto for taking the time to visit our facility and invest in training our staff. Continuing education and hands-on manufacturer training are a huge part of what sets the TNM team apart.

We’re proud to highlight Dax Burgrabe, our Shipyard Operations Manager, as a key leader in the continued growth and advancement of our operational structure of True North Marine.

Dax brings over 20 years of maritime leadership experience from the U.S. Coast Guard, where he managed large-scale shipyard availabilities and multi-million dollar drydock projects while leading teams of over 500 personnel.

Since joining TNM, Dax has been instrumental in strengthening our shipyard operations—bringing structure, organization, and a higher level of ex*****on to everything we do.

As we continue to grow, expanding our shipyard capacity and taking on more complex, larger-scale projects, Dax is leading the charge. His focus on efficiency, planning, and team development is allowing us to increase throughput while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

This is a major step forward for TNM as we continue building a true full-service, best-in-class marine operation.

We’re excited to welcome Brittany Merrill to the True North Marine team as our new Parts Supervisor!

Brittany brings over 10 years of experience in the marine industry, most recently serving in leadership roles with West Marine, where she managed high-volume operations, inventory, and customer support at the highest level.

At True North Marine, Brittany will be focused on supporting our technicians with accurate and efficient parts procurement, managing purchasing and vendor relationships, and helping strengthen the organization and performance of our parts department.

Her experience, attention to detail, and leadership background make her a perfect fit as we continue to grow and build a best-in-class service operation.
