These guys had an absolute blast, and honestly that’s what I look forward to every single trip — seeing smiles, making memories, and giving people a great experience on the water. The fishing is important, of course, but so is the atmosphere, the laughs, the safety, and the overall adventure.
I also want to address something respectfully. Lately, I’ve had a couple people leave harsh reviews after a tough day of fishing. Anyone who fishes knows the bite is never guaranteed — that’s why it’s called fishing, not catching. What I can control is working hard, putting in the effort, keeping everyone safe, and doing everything possible to find fish and make the trip enjoyable.
What’s frustrating is when someone gets off the boat smiling, shakes my hand, tips 20%, says they had a great time… and then later goes online to vent frustration publicly instead of simply calling me first. If anyone ever has concerns about a trip, I’d much rather have a respectful conversation directly.
I take a lot of pride in what I do, and I believe the many positive reviews speak for themselves. I truly care about my customers and work hard every day to provide the best experience possible.
And for anyone booking fishing charters anywhere — use common sense and realistic expectations. No captain controls the weather, tides, or whether fish decide to cooperate that day. What matters is effort, professionalism, safety, and attitude. We’re fortunate to have a lot of great captains here around Port Canaveral, and I can honestly say most of them will put you on fish when the conditions and bite line up.
