☀️ It’s HOT out there, captains! 🛥️🌊

Long days on the water are what summer is all about, but this heat is no joke. A few friendly reminders from your crew at Oh Buoy Canvas Company:

💧 Drink more water than you think you need. If you’re not reaching for the cooler often, you’re probably already behind.

🧴 Sunscreen isn’t just for the kids. Reapply often—especially with the sun reflecting off the water.

🐾 Boating with your four-legged first mate? Keep plenty of fresh water available and make sure they have a shady place to cool off.

⚡ If you’re at the dock and shore power goes out, cabin temperatures can climb fast. Air conditioners stop, fans quit, and it can become dangerous for pets left onboard. If you’re heading ashore, always have a backup plan or take your furry crew member with you.

A great day on the water starts with a little preparation. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and keep an eye on everyone aboard—two-legged and four-legged alike.

First off, thank you all so much for the love, support, and warm wishes! It truly means the world to me.

I’ve had a few questions about where I’ll be operating, so I wanted to clear that up. While I’m based in Colonial Beach, I’ll be a mobile service and can come to you or your marina.

At the moment, I don’t have a storefront to walk into, but if you’re around the CoBe area this fall, you’ll start seeing a few boats sporting my work!

Why wait until fall? As many boaters know, that’s typically the slower season. It’s the perfect time for me to adjust my own sails, fine-tune the business, and get everything shipshape before the busy spring season comes full steam ahead.

Thank you for climbing aboard from the very beginning. Your encouragement has been incredible, and I can’t wait to help with all of your marine canvas and isinglass needs. Here’s to smooth waters and new adventures!
