With the demise of Driver's Education classes in America, no one seems to be learning that they need to give long, heavy, combination vehicles extra room. Extra room at corners, extra room when they are broken down on the shoulder, and most importantly, extra room to STOP! Our "Me, me, me... ME FIRST!" culture is getting people killed. Please drive safely. Always! But, especially around big trucks.

You've GOT to be kidding me! The written portion of the CDL test is so easy a Cave Man could pass it... The only thing even RESEMBLING difficult is the pretrip part of the practical test...

The DOT announced recently that three people in New York have pleaded guilty to charges in a scheme in which test takers were provided answers to CDL examinations during the tests using equipment like cameras and Bluetooth pencils.

Love him or hate him, today He is every driver's Hero... This was and is an ignorant rule that had NO safety data to back up the changes. Rolling them back was the only sensible thing to do... Thanks to Phil over at Sancrest Specialized Transport for sharing this FANTASTIC news with us...
