Whose kids are officially out for summer?! ☀️ Mine are!

And guess what… I get them for about ONE whole week before they head off to work at scout camp — their absolute happy place. ❤️🏕️

It’s such a bittersweet season. I LOVE that they’re old enough to get out there, work hard, make memories, and do something they truly enjoy. But at the same time… it feels so weird knowing they’ll be gone for basically a month!

This summer already feels like it’s going to fly by. I know I’m going to blink and suddenly we’ll be buying school supplies again. And if that isn’t emotional enough… my oldest will be a SENIOR this year. 😭 I’ll save the full waterworks for another post!

💛💛💛 Hey friends! I need a huge favor from my favorite people…

These incredible scouts are working hard to earn their way to an unforgettable high adventure at Sea Base 🌊⚓ — where they’ll spend a week out on the open ocean putting all their scouting skills to the test. How cool is that?!

What are you up to this weekend?!

Me??? Oh just casually living three completely different lives 😎🔥

We’ve got Scouts, PROM (how are we here already?! 😭), and… oh yeah… burning a field.🔥🔥🔥

Yep. You read that right.

I’m part of a local burn association where we help farmers safely burn their fields to promote new growth and keep the land healthy 🌱🔥 It might sound a little wild, but it’s actually an amazing process, and honestly… kind of fun to watch the flames roll across a field (with a whole crew, lots of prep, and safety first, of course!).

It takes a village, a solid plan, and a bunch of great people working together and I just love getting to be part of something that helps our farming community in such a unique way 💛

So if you need me this weekend… I’ll either be in Scout mode, crying over prom photos, or out in a field saying “yep, I helped light that” 🔥
