Daxx & Elle’s Beginning

Welcome to Daxx & Elle. We were founded under the name “Simply Marble” by Brooke Curtis. Brooke is OBSESSED with all things marble so she had an epiphany one day that she needed to create a shop centered solely around marble fashion pieces. Brooke has always had the entrepreneurial bug so this was her perfect opportunity to get passionate about a business project. Starting around 2016, Simply Marble was booming, but Brooke wasn’t totally satisfied. She is absolutely nuts about Marble, but she also loves luxury items with neutral tones, simplistic vibes and chic fashion accessories that don’t necessarily have to do with Marble. She took a couple months to think about the direction she wanted Simply Marble to head and decided it was time to rebrand. To not cause confusion to her audience from selling more than marble pieces. She thought very hard and decided to rename Simply Marble to “Daxx & Elle”. Before she knew it she was completely overwhelmed with new inspiration. Somehow more than before which she thought was nearly impossible. The reason for her new drive wasn’t solely the fact that renaming would allow more versatility in her stock and image, but the name itself has a meaning so deep it fuels the fire. The name derives from her Niece and Nephew, Daxx and Noelle. Two little people (almost 2 years old via 2018) that have her heart strings completely wrapped around their little fingers. She consulted both their Moms first to make sure she had their approval and blessing first. Much to her relief they were both very much so on board so much that through some brainstorming Noelle’s Mom Sarah came up with the new name adding even more of a special feeling to the whole thing. As soon as Sarah sent the name, Brooke KNEW this would be what she renamed the company. Brooke’s husband Kevin told her not to jump into it and to give it a week to make sure it’s what she wanted. She gave it a week and still stood as strong as a rock in her decision to use that for the name. The next week she spent tirelessly rebranding the whole store. Now we are VERY please to bring you the new better version of Simply Marble as Daxx&Elle!
