While onboard Celebrity Beyond, we stopped in beautiful St. Kitts and opted for a group excursion through Celebrity Cruises aboard an open-air safari bus!

And WOW! 😍

From the lush green mountains to the stunning Caribbean views, this island was absolutely breathtaking!

Here’s why I love a good guided group excursion: You get to sit back, take in the scenery, learn about the island and let someone else handle the driving and logistics!

🚢🌴 WHICH CRUISE TRAVELER ARE YOU?!

One of my FAVORITE things about cruising is that no two port days have to look alike!

On our recent 7-night sailing aboard Celebrity Beyond, we experienced three beautiful Caribbean destinations in three completely different ways!

🇩🇴 A — The Independent Explorer: Puerto Plata! We explored Umbrella Street and Pink Street on our own and enjoyed the lazy river at the port!

🇻🇬 B — The Private Adventurer: Tortola! A private guided Jeep tour with breathtaking views and only six people!

🇰🇳 C — The Guided Sightseer: St. Kitts! An open-air safari bus excursion booked through Celebrity Cruises!

And you know what? We loved having a little of ALL THREE!

🇩🇴☂️ CRUISING TO PUERTO PLATA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC? HERE ARE TWO MUST-SEE STOPS! 💕

While sailing aboard Celebrity Beyond, we decided to explore a little of Puerto Plata on our own, and these two colorful streets are definitely worth checking out!

☂️ Umbrella Street (Calle de las Sombrillas) — A charming pedestrian street filled with colorful umbrellas hanging overhead! You’ll find cute shops, cafés, and plenty of Instagram-worthy photo opportunities!

💕 Pink Street (Paseo de Doña Blanca) — Just a short walk away, this adorable little alley is painted entirely PINK! From the walls to the benches, it’s such a fun and unique spot for pictures!

The best part? Both are FREE to visit and easy to combine into one little sightseeing adventure!

🌴 We finished our day relaxing at the cruise port’s lazy river!

🇻🇬 TORTOLA, YOU ARE SOMETHING SPECIAL! 🌴

I can honestly say that one of my favorite ways to experience a new destination is with a private local guide!

While visiting Tortola on our Celebrity Beyond cruise, we booked a private guided Jeep tour with Viator Tours with HikeBVI to explore this absolutely gorgeous island!

And let me tell you… the VIEWS! 😍

One thing I love about private tours is the more personal experience. You’re not just one of 40 people following a guide around!

There’s something special about getting out and seeing an island beyond the cruise port.

THIS is why I travel! So when my clients ask me what to do in Tortola, I can share more than something I read online.
