The ocean has always been my happy place. It’s where I can breathe deep and relax 🌊

First (2) flight(s) at 5 months old!

This was the youngest baby I’ve ever flown with and I was a little nervous, but it honestly went so well!

We brought lots of toys, but Shiloh was pretty much solely entertained by the plane itself. He loved the lights, the window, and people watching. He did enjoy his teethers and used his paci when he wasn’t nursing for takeoff and landing. We definitely had a FOMO baby and he stretched his wake window a little too long, got a little fussy, but eventually fell asleep. He was mostly a very happy baby and got lots of attention for his bright smile.

What I packed for the plane 🎒: a few variations of teethers, a lovey, a couple pacis, a spin suction toy, a crinkle and a puppet book, his reflux medicine, diapers, wipes and a change of clothes.

What tips do you have for flying with little ones?

Travel hack! 💡I found these hard pencil cases at target and they work perfectly for keeping snacks from getting crushed while still saying slim enough to slide into a diaper bag. They would be great for organizing meds too 👌🏻

One of my absolute favorite things about Royal Caribbean is Adventure Ocean. Having complimentary, high-quality childcare included for ages 3+ completely changes the vacation game. ⚓️🏴‍☠️🚢

In this season of life, getting a date night at home is tough. Between finding someone from our small circle of trusted babysitters and factoring in the cost of childcare on top of the date itself, dates usually end up postponed if no one is available.

With Adventure Ocean, that mental load is completely lifted. The youth staff hold four-year degrees in education, child development, or related fields, giving me total peace of mind. Plus, my kids literally beg to go.

Knowing they’re having a blast just a few decks away and that I can reach them in minutes lets us truly relax and enjoy time together. Vacation should feel like a vacation for parents, too!✨
