We are looking for experienced dispatchers who are ready to grow with us.

Baltic Lines Group is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Shop Manager / Front Desk Manager to oversee daily shop operations and serve as the main point of contact for customers, mechanics, and vendors at our Crestwood, Illinois location.

This role is ideal for someone who can manage front desk responsibilities while keeping shop operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Check in customers and serve as the front desk point of contact

Answer incoming phone calls and communicate clearly with customers regarding services and job status

Create invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances

Manage daily shop workflow and coordinate which trucks are pulled in for service

Communicate work orders and priorities to mechanics

Ensure mechanics and shop staff are completing assigned tasks

Communicate with clients regarding repairs, maintenance needs, and approvals

Work closely with the parts department to ensure required parts are available

Set up, organize, and track parts inventory

Maintain organized records and support overall shop efficiency

Qualifications

Experience in a shop, trucking, diesel, automotive, or service-based environment preferred

Strong communication and customer service skills

Comfortable with invoicing, payments, and basic administrative tasks

Ability to multitask and manage daily operations

Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
