If a Disney Cruise has been on your family’s wish list… this is such a good time to start planning!

Disney Cruise Line just released a special offer where kids (ages 17 & under) can sail at a discounted rate as the 3rd, 4th, or 5th guest in the stateroom making it a great option for families wanting that Disney magic at a better value.

This offer is available on select sailings from October 2026 through March 2027 (perfect for fall break, holiday trips, or spring getaways 👀), but it does require two full-fare guests in the room and excludes concierge/suite categories.

A few things to keep in mind:
• Must be booked by June 14, 2026
• Discount applies to kids 17 & under (3rd–5th guests)
• Taxes, fees, gratuities & excursions are not included

Just helped a couple plan their honeymoon and it’s always one of my favorite types of trips to be part of ✨

When we started planning, they knew they wanted something that felt relaxing, beautiful, and a little elevated. A place where they could truly unwind and enjoy that time together after the wedding.

We talked through a few different options before narrowing it down to the destination and resort that best fit their vision. That’s one of the things I love most about honeymoon planning because no two couples want the exact same experience.

Some want total relaxation, others want adventure, and a lot want a mix of both.

One of the biggest pieces of advice I give my cruise clients? Always plan to arrive the day before your cruise departs. It might feel like an extra step, but it can make a huge difference in how your trip starts. Flights get delayed, traffic happens, and cruise ships don’t wait.

By arriving the day before, you’re giving yourself a buffer so you can start your trip relaxed instead of stressed. It also gives you a chance to:
• explore the port area a little
• get a good night’s sleep before embarkation day
• start your vacation feeling calm instead of rushed

When I’m helping clients plan their cruises, we always talk through pre-cruise hotel options and timing so everything flows smoothly from the moment they leave home. It’s a small detail that makes a big impact on the overall experience.

For my August Port-Canaveral cruisers, we just booked a couple nights at Disneys Polynesian Resort so they can even have fun at a park (or 2!) before hand! 😍😍😍

Another fun trip officially in the works ✨

I helped a client plan their visit to the Disneyland Resort, and there’s just something special about Disneyland.

It’s smaller and more walkable than Walt Disney World, which makes it a really great option for shorter trips or for families who want a little less planning and more flexibility.

When we were planning this trip, we talked through park strategy, timing, and how to make the most of their days without feeling rushed..because even though Disneyland is more compact, having a plan still makes a big difference.

Trips like this are such a good reminder that you don’t always need a full week away to have an amazing vacation.

Just helped plan such a special trip 🚢✨

A sweet mom is taking her three adult children and their families on a 4-night sailing on the Disney Wish out of Port Canaveral and it’s going to be such a fun one.

They’ll have four staterooms, which gives each family their own space while still getting to spend so much time together throughout the cruise.

And one of the best parts of this itinerary?

They’ll get to visit both of Disney’s private island destinations:

🏝️ Castaway Cay
🏝️ Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point

Getting to experience both in one sailing makes this trip even more special.

This is one of the reasons I love recommending Disney Cruise Line for larger families. It makes multigenerational travel feel easy.

Each family has their own spaces.
Kid can play in the kids clubs.
The adults get time to relax.
And everyone comes together for dinners, shows, and beach days.

When we were planning, we talked through stateroom locations, proximity to each other, and how to make the experience smooth for a group this size.. those details really matter on a cruise.

Trips like this are the ones families remember forever.

One of my favorite reminders this week was that you don’t always have to travel far (or long) to have a really great getaway.

I spent a little time in Galveston with friends and it was the perfect quick reset! We had beach views, good food, lots of laughter, and a change of scenery without having to plan a big trip.

Sometimes we think vacations have to be flights and week-long itineraries, but some of the best memories come from simple trips close to home.

A quick beach day, a night out with friends, or a weekend getaway can be exactly what you need.

It was also a fun excuse to add this on since we had a train g opportunity with the Disney Magic. It was necessary at that point 😉

Highly recommend scheduling little trips like this into your year.. they make life feel a lot more fun.

Just helped a client book a VIP Tour at Disneyland Resort, and this is one of those experiences that completely changes how you do the parks.

A VIP Tour is a private, guided experience where you have a dedicated Disney guide helping you navigate your day. It includes things like:

• Priority access to attractions
• Customized itinerary based on what you want to do
• Behind-the-scenes insight from your guide
• The ability to move through the parks efficiently without the usual wait times

For clients who want to maximize their time, avoid long lines, and have a more seamless day, this is such an incredible option.

It’s definitely a different way to experience Disney, and once you do it, it’s hard to go back.

One of the fun parts of this Galveston trip was getting to stay at hotellucine, and it ended up being such a cool little find.

It’s a boutique hotel right along the seawall with a really relaxed, mid-century modern vibe that feels very different from the typical big beach hotels.

The rooms are simple but beautifully designed, and the property has some really fun perks like a great pool area, easy beach access, and spots around the hotel that are perfect for relaxing and catching up with friends (like a rooftop bar!)

It’s the kind of place that works really well for a quick girls trip, couples getaway, or even a family weekend reset when you just want to be near the water.

Sometimes the best trips are the simple ones close to home.
