It's just crazy what a quilter finds in their stash, like this group of 25 (?) year-old fabrics that I seemed to have a plan for and then stopped. But it's so old that I like it again, so maybe I'll do some mindless piecing, because that's about all I have the mental energy for these days.

Last year I took a live online course with Ricky Tims for his Papaw's Choice quilt, an original block that was created by his father. It was such an enjoyable class! I finally sewed some borders on last night. Now to quilt it.

Today I learned that my quilt "Lucky Day" (detail shot) has been juried into the 2025 International Quilt Festival's Judged Show, which takes place in Houston at the George Brown Convention Center. I'm so excited to be included in the show!
