Thank you for your interest in our upcoming Summer 2027 Amtrak train trip to St. Louis, Missouri!
We’re excited to bring travelers together from Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana for a wonderful summer getaway filled with sightseeing, fun, and new friendships!
📅 TRAVEL DATES: JUNE 13–17, 2027
5 Days • 4 Nights • 2 Nights Aboard Amtrak • 2 Nights at the Hotel
🚆 OUR TRAVEL SCHEDULE
Sunday, June 13: Depart aboard Amtrak’s Texas Eagle. We’ll travel overnight to St. Louis.
Monday, June 14: Arrive in St. Louis! Enjoy sightseeing and exploring the city before checking into our hotel.
Tuesday, June 15: Enjoy another day in St. Louis or participate in our optional Chicago day trip.
Wednesday, June 16: Enjoy additional time in St. Louis before departing that evening aboard Amtrak’s Texas Eagle for our return trip home.
Thursday, June 17: Arrive back at our respective destinations.
🌆 OPTIONAL CHICAGO DAY TRIP – JUNE 15
Travelers will have the opportunity to take an additional Amtrak train ride from St. Louis to Chicago, Illinois!
Our featured activity will be a visit to the Obama Presidential Center Campus, where you can explore the beautiful outdoor grounds, gardens, public spaces, and take memorable photographs.
✅ Campus admission is FREE!
🎟️ Museum admission is optional. Tickets must be purchased separately and are subject to availability.
The Chicago excursion is optional, with round-trip Amtrak fares starting at approximately $54 per person. Travelers who prefer to remain in St. Louis are welcome to enjoy the city at their leisure.
🏨 HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
We’ll be staying at a beautiful hotel conveniently located in downtown St. Louis, near the Gateway Arch, Busch Stadium, restaurants, casinos, and other popular attractions.
Our special group hotel rate is $170 per night, plus tax.
Two-night hotel stay: $340 plus tax per room.
The hotel offers complimentary hot breakfast and evening refreshments.
I encourage travelers to consider sharing a room to help reduce expenses. For example, two people sharing a room would pay approximately $170 per person for both nights, plus their share of taxes.
Hotel booking information will be provided after registration.

Connecting bus service is subject to Amtrak schedules and availability.
Train ticket prices vary depending on your boarding location and when you purchase your tickets. I’ll gladly assist you with identifying the appropriate train schedule and fare from your departure city.
💰 REGISTRATION FEE: $30 PER PERSON
Your registration fee covers trip planning, coordination, and access to our private GroupMe!
Once registered, you’ll receive hotel booking information and be added to our GroupMe, where we’ll share train schedules, suggested activities, important updates, and everything you need to prepare for our adventure.
The $30 registration fee is nonrefundable but transferable.

Each traveler is responsible for booking and paying for their own Amtrak tickets, hotel accommodations, meals, and optional activities.
I coordinate the trip, provide travel information, and bring everyone together for a fun and memorable experience!
