When I first launched Settled Haven, I wanted to find a meaningful way to give back. God put it on my heart to help local moms who just needed a little extra support around the home…a chance to catch their breath during a busy season of life.
I had no idea how many local business owners would want to be part of it.
These are just some of the businesses that came alongside me before we even helped our very first mom. There were actually many more businesses that reached out wanting to contribute, but I quickly realized how much work went into coordinating everything. Between meeting with business owners, picking up donations, organizing the home, and planning the day, I definitely underestimated the time involved. 😂
What touched me most wasn’t the gifts themselves. It was seeing so many local business owners willing to give from the kindness of their hearts to bless someone they had never even met.
A special thank you to Angelo Diaz Films, who generously donated so much of his time to film the entire experience. He spent the day with me while I organized this sweet mom’s home, and because of him we were able to capture such a special story.
One thing I’ve learned over the last several months is just how incredible our local business community really is. There are so many business owners who genuinely want to support one another and give back when they have the opportunity.
I originally hoped to publicly recognize every business that participated, but that didn’t end up happening the way I had planned. I never wanted their generosity to go unnoticed, so I wanted to recognize them here instead.
To every business owner who donated your products, services, or time, thank you. Your generosity meant more than you probably realize, and it made a real difference for someone who needed it.
Looking back, this is just another reminder of God’s faithfulness. Before I ever had my first client, He was already surrounding me with people who believed in this vision and wanted to bless others alongside me.
I’m so thankful. ❤️
If your business is on this list, tag yourself or your business page in the comments! I’d love for everyone to be able to find your page and show you some love.
And if you’re local to Flower Mound or the surrounding area, I encourage you to check out these amazing businesses. Every one of them stepped up simply because they wanted to bless someone in our community, and I think that’s pretty special. ❤️
Y’all, please help me thank these amazing local businesses who have contributed to Mom of the Week! ❤️
When I started this through Settled Haven, I simply wanted a way to give back and help a local parent who could use a little extra support. I’m excited to share that we have already served 2 moms, and seeing their smiles at the end of the day has meant absolutely everything.
No matter how big or small the project, helping someone breathe a little easier, feel supported, and enjoy their home again is what this is all about.
As we move into the busy summer moving season, Mom of the Week will now become Mom of the Month due to limited availability. We are also expanding the program to include local dads who could use a helping hand around the house.
A huge thank you to the businesses who have joined in to make this extra special:

✨ Justin Jiu Jitsu Academy

Thank you again to all of the local businesses who have joined in on this. You have made this so much more special, and I am incredibly grateful for your support. ❤️
